STEM Drive Mixing Systems
The STEM Drive is a very economical, extremely effective mixer device. The STEM Drive is submersible, provides a low maintenance, more economical, more effective alternative to surface aeration. It has no moving parts; therefore, is essentially maintenance free. Because one StemDrive can mix up to 400,000 gals it is very cost effective. Operating costs and maintenance costs are substantially lower (up to 40%) than other mixing systems. Among its many uses are for stirring in lagoons, ponds, aerobic digesters, holding tanks and other vessels. Because it can be submerged, it can be easily installed in anaerobic vessels and other enclosed vessels without significant modification.
